Baltimore Salsa Flash Mob
Inner Harbor Salsa Flash Mob - June 2012 Participants prepared with Mike for months leading up to this
momentous feat, giving up many Saturday afternoons to learn the Rueda
calls we planned for the event. For a list of moves, you may wish to
visit the Routine page. In the end, everyone had a blast and brilliantly represented the Baltimore salsa community. Just wait for more videos and pictures that we'll post right here on this site. | Baltimore Salsa Flash Mob I - November 2010 Led
by Mike Fok, dancing mobsters invaded Towson Town Center as surprised
shoppers nearly dropped their bags when Baltimore salseros took over the
center rotunda. The
Baltimore Salsa Flash Mob was an "underground effort" where Salseros
converged at a very public place, and without warning broke into dance
for just one song. People on hand saw how the Baltimore salsa community
rocks. The goal of this project was to infuse unity in our community,
and show pride in being Baltimore Salseros. For more information on how the whole thing was pulled together and to see videos of the choreography, visit the Baltimore Salsa Flash Mob website. |
